Physalis plant with bright orange lanterns is a perennial hardy plant that also does well as a patio plant. Grows very easily.

The plant derives its botanical name from the balloon-shaped enclosure of soft fruit.

Available from mid July with green lanterns.

These lanterns are gradually orange. Very nice to see the process close.
